A study conducted by the University of California investigated the frequency of imagined worries that never come true. Participants recorded their anxieties over a period and later assessed which of these concerns actually occurred.
The findings were striking: 85% of the worries never came to fruition.Among the 15% of worries that did materialize, 79% of participants reported that they handled the situations better than anticipated or gained valuable insights from the experiences.
This suggests that the majority of our fears may be unfounded, and even when faced with real challenges, individuals often manage them more effectively than expected.
